ARE YOU A COSMOPOLITIAN TRAVELER?
See if you agree with any of the below:
Travel Tours:
Are for tourists. You prefer the pace of your own adventure.
Lodging:
Hostels are nice to visit. You wouldn't want to stay there.
Culture:
Resorts are lovely, but the real culture worth experiencing is outside the compound.
Electronics:
You feel naked without your cell phone/PDA/laptop when traveling.
Music:
Nothing ruins a great bar/club more than Hip-Hop on the turntables.
Wardrobe:
Belly-baring tops are so 1990's. And retro 1980's clothes are better left in that decade. Still, your wardrobe on the road is chic and sexy, not just functional.
Fitness:
Working out gives you the energy to stay up late. If you don't work out, it's only 'cause you don't need to.
Drinking:
The vodka generation. Shaken, not stirred, please. Wine with dinner. Not to excess every night.
Movies:
Little Miss Sunshine yes, Little Man no.
Reading:
Vogue. Utne. Real Simple. Guilty Pleasures: People. Award-winning literature and self-help/non-fiction when time allows.
Home Residence:
There's more on your walls than just white paint and a framed photo from college.
Car:
An extension of your personality. Not a statement to make up for physical things you're lacking.
Parents:
To be cherished, not spurned. No longer something to be sponged off of.
Finances:
A work in progress.
Work:
You understand the drawing of lines between home and the office.
Vacation:
Adventurous. Romantic. Restful. Never long enough.
